Visual Reference Library - Soybean

Soybeans and pieces of soybeans which are discolored and the area of coverage and intensity is equal to or greater than shown. The discoloration can be prorated. For example, when the degree of discoloration is twice that shown, the area of coverage can be reduced by one half. 
The discoloration may appear on one or both sides of the soybean. Affected soybeans may also be elongated and/or misshapen.
A. Only half cross-sectioned whole soybean must meet the reference.
B. Examine the flat side of a split soybean. Do not cross-section splits or pieces of soybeans.
